Thank you all for praying for my daughter. God is very faithful. She is in the hospital and while we thought the medication was doing the trick, it apparently is not. So they have to keep upping the amount and she is going to have to stay in the hospital until they determine the correct dosage. They can send her home and have her inject herself 2x a day…you’d have to know Windsor to know that is probably not a good idea! Although, she keeps surprising me!
As you know, hospitals are not a place to rest. She is very tired. But she has not lost her sense of humor! When the nurses come into her room they continue to ask her her name. So now she is making up fictitious names! To see if they are on the ball! But it is a bit funny that they come into the room and say, “Mrs. Wyatt, Mrs. Wyatt, what is your name?” Seems to me they already know it! (I know they must be trying to see if she is aware and lucid.) She thought she’d give them a birthdate of August 3rd, 2013 to see if they’d catch it! They would.
Things don’t happen quickly in a hospital on weekends. So tomorrow she will be cracking the whip.
They still have not addressed the original issue for which she went to the hospital in th first place – the abdominal pain! One thing at a time and blood clots have the priority.
God knows it all and exactly what needs to be done when. He can give the doctors wisdom, Windsor peace and her husband the ability to juggle all the balls: wife in the hospital, job, son going in for surgery Tuesday, loss of his office manager (his wife) and 2 teenaged boys driving around in the family van! (I am so proud of my grandson – when no one else in the house wanted to go to church this morning, he got himself up and off to church!)
I am going up tomorrow to do what I can.
It really is a wonderful thing to be able to trust God. Very reassuring, comforting.
I have had some pretty horible things happen to me in life but God has always been with me. When things seemed impossible, He never failed me. I wrote a book some years ago, Fear Not Tomorrow, God Is Already There. That is SO true!
No matter what you are facing today, be encouraged. He is with you!
