It had been a long night. The betrayal, the trial with the trumped-up charges, the thorns smashed into His head, the mocking, the beating, the friends disappearing, the heavy cross…and now crucifixion. Scripture calls Him a “man of sorrows” – plural. Indeed. “Man of sorrows what a name, for the Son of God who came, ruined sinners to reclaim, hallelujah what a Savior!
